Do you come to me or do I bring the car to you?

Both options are available. Many installs can be completed at your home or workplace anywhere in the Ottawa area, and larger jobs such as cluster swaps or full audio builds are usually better done at the shop. We will recommend the right option when we quote.

Question 2

Will an upgrade void my vehicle warranty?

Accepted Answer

A properly installed accessory does not void your powertrain or body warranty. We use vehicle specific harnesses and avoid cutting factory wiring, so the vehicle can be returned to stock if a dealer ever needs it that way.

Question 3

How much does an install cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the vehicle and the parts involved. A camera install sits at the lower end while a digital cluster or full audio system is a larger project. Send your year, make, model and trim and you will get a written quote with parts and labour listed separately.

Question 4

How long will my car be with you?

Accepted Answer

Most single service appointments run between two and six hours. Larger combinations of work, or vehicles that need coding and road testing, may stay overnight. We give you a realistic window before you book.

Question 5

Can you work on my leased vehicle?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it is a common request. We use reversible integration methods so the car can be returned to factory condition before you hand it back at the end of the lease.

Do you keep my steering wheel controls and reverse camera?

Accepted Answer

Retaining factory features is standard on every job we quote. Steering wheel buttons, reverse cameras, parking sensor chimes and factory amplifiers all continue to work after the upgrade.

Question 7

Can I supply my own parts?

Accepted Answer

You can. We will install parts you have already bought and charge for labour only. We cannot warranty the hardware itself in that case, but our workmanship support still applies.

Question 8

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept e-transfer, debit and major credit cards. For larger builds we take a deposit to cover parts and the balance on completion.

Question 9

What does lifetime support actually mean?

Accepted Answer

It means that as long as you own the vehicle, you can come back to us with a question or an issue related to work we did. Adjustments, reconfiguration and troubleshooting on our own installs are looked after.

Question 10

Do you work on vehicles modified by someone else?

Accepted Answer

Often. A good part of our work is correcting or improving installs done elsewhere. Bring the car in and we will tell you honestly what it needs.
